Beginners

We usually hold one beginners course a year around June/July at our Old Newtonians shooting ground. Courses typically run from 7pm-9pm on a Wednesday night and include refreshments.

You will not need to provide any of your own equipment, we have club bows and accessories to get you started, however if you have done some archery before and wish to bring along your own equipment you are welcome to do so. We have in-team experts to help you should you wish to purchase or upgrade your own equipment in time.

Typical costs for a beginner's course is around £30 for adults, with reduced prices for juniors (under 18s).
